ICONICA was responsible for the complete indoor and outdoor lighting design of The VOID, an immersive virtual reality attraction in Dubai. Unlike conventional VR experiences that restrict users to a fixed position, The VOID allows visitors to move freely and interact physically with their virtual surroundings. Through its deep-immersion technology, guests can hear, feel, move, and engage with a highly realistic digital environment. The featured experience, inspired by the Ghostbusters universe, takes visitors on an interactive mission through New York, combining virtual reality with physical movement and sensory effects. ICONICA’s lighting design was carefully developed to support the attraction’s immersive atmosphere, enhance the architectural environment, and create a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
